jason: could wednesday morning, i' m jason guy. we are glad you are waking up with us. we will get all the commitment 2016 results. let' s show you the weather camera here downtown orlando. you can see we' ve got some cloud cover now. it we another warm day. let' s get right to amy sweezey with the first alert weather. amy: we are starting warm and muggy and will have fog across the area to start the day. once we get going we will see more sunshine into get rid of the fog. we will have a few classes afternoon. a similar set up what we had yesterday, the big difference is it won' t be as windy. with a little more cloud cover this afternoon, temperatures were still make it into the mid to upper 80' s. sunrise happened at 7:34. we are down to two miles in orlando, most of the area though is not a lot of ground fog, it' s that low cloudiness.

we have some construction on i-4 ivanhoe. you will lose a left lane. jason: thank you, ted. breaking commitment 2016 news from overnight. both races and misery were called. nbc news is projecting donald trump the republican winner, only two precincts haven' t reported and both trump and ted cruz have 99% of the republican vote. for democrats, nbc news reports hillary clinton tops bernie sanders by just 1%. clinton also beat sanders in north carolina, illinois, florida and ohio. also this morning, we are looking at ohio governor john kasich victory over trump in his home state. but trump took north carolina, illinois, and florida. wesh 2' s stewart moore was in trump trounced the other candidates by double digits. wesh 2' s stewart moore was in mar-a-lago for his victory speech.

it was a big victory for donald trump in florida, winning 99 delegates were up for grabs. a winner take all state in florida. donald trump had a crowd of 450 to 500 of his supporters. trump called florida his second home. he did not win ohio, but he did win florida and he has the easiest path to winning the gop nomination. here' s what he had to say as he addressed the crowd after that victory. >> we will do a lot of trips. we will have a great victory. i think more important and anything else, we are going to start winning again. this country is going to start winning again. t win anymore. >> donald trump up of it now, taking his campaign out west to arizona, utah and wisconsin. as we next three states for the republicans. you have john kasich and ted cruz who are still fine for more votes to try and keep it from

the 10,000 square-foot home was built by the founder of usa today and florida today and sold last year for as firefighters battled the flames, a crowd gathered on the beach, watching as ashes fell from the sky. >> it' s very sad, i used to walk by here every day. i used to walk the beach every day, walked right past year. >> it hurts the community, it hurts me. jason: firefighters are promising a full investigation into the blaze. so far they don' t believe it was anything suspicious. new on sunrise, two local religious leaders are facing charges in a child sex-abuse scandal in pennsylvania. giles schinelli, robert d' aversa, and anthony criscitelli are all accused of enabling a friar to molest more than 100 children over several years. investigators say they knew the friar was a threat and still put him in positions to prey upon children. giles schinelli is pastoral administrator of the san pedro center in winter park.

amy: good morning and welcome back, it is 4:43 on wednesday. we are dealing with low clouds and a little bit of fogginess in central florida again. good morning, i' m amy sweezey. we will be getting some sunshine later today and that will help park temperatures climb. a lot like yesterday, whistler -- start with cloud cover and we will make it to the upper 80' s near 90 once again. we had 90 yesterday in a couple spots as anticipated. we will hit 90 again today in a couple spots as well. mid-to-upper 60' s is where we are now, so another warm start. 69 degrees in orlando, 67 in melbourne and 65 right now in daytona beach. once we get going today and the

jason: want to give you a repack of florida' s presidential primary results. democrat hillary clinton beat bernie sanders by newly double the percentage of votes. and for the republicans, trump trounce the other candidates by double digits. he won every state except for ohio. for both races, missouri has been very close, but was called by nbc overnight. orange county is promising to do better after a ballot shortage at a dozen local polling places. elections supervisor bill cowles is promising to fix the glitches, he says, resulted in too few ballots being ordered. wesh 2 spoke to one voter who made to the polls one minute after closing. she says she was turned away, since there were no ballots left. the supervisor of elections even asked state officials to consider extending voting hours, but that didn' t happen. >> i think it is safe to say in november for the presidential

about 120% of the ballots needed to make sure we' ve got everything covered. jason: cowles called the ballot problems and solutions, a great learning lesson. president barack obama could announce his pick for the next supreme court justice as earlyurt justice as early as today. cnn is reporting the vetting process for the potential nominees is now complete. it could be an uphill battle for obama' s pick to replace the late justice, antonin scalia. it' s official, the university of central florida is getting its downtown orlando campus. governor rick scott signed the state budget yesterday. a gift $20 million to the project that will be built on the site of the old amway arena. another 20 million will come from private donors and the rest from the school. the downtown campus is expected to cost upwards of $60 million. the campus is set to open in the fall of 2018. this morning, communities and texas are still reeling from severe storms that have caused devastating flooding in eastern part of the state.

jason: five home invasion suspects remain on the run after a kidnapping into crashes. ocoee police say five people wearing pig masks, broke into a home early yesterday morning. the people inside say two of them were thrown into the bathroom and a third person was kidnapped. while the victim was let go, the suspects cause a wreck that critically injured another driver. moments later, they also hit an officer' s cruiser. that officer was not hurt. police think they know why the victims targeted. >> this particular couple of guys ran tax business. apparently they were a free with their money, they flash their money area everybody knew on social media how much cash they had. they posted pictures and this may have made him a target.

with guns and plenty of cash. we are expecting another warm day here in central florida and there is a warning to check the chlorine levels in your pool. orange county fire rescuers say five kids got sick from a pool that had double the level it should have. this happened last night at the waterford east apartments on island bay drive. some of the kids were nauseous and vomiting and had a rapid heart rate. one was taken to the hospital. cuba just became the newest country to have the zika virus detected in mosquitoes. state media says a woman who did not travel outside the country , tested positive on cuba was monday. one of the latest countries in the western hemisphere without a domestic case. president obama arrives for his historic visit on sunday. investors are suing volkswagen for billions of dollars over the emissions cheating scandal. a german court says hundreds of investors are included in a lawsuit filed monday. the company has been hit with heavy losses since admitting it created software to pass

volkswagen is declining comment on this latest lawsuit. a recent e-coli outbreak could cause chipotle a historic first-quarter loss on wall street. the restaurant chain has only posted gains for the first three months of the year for the past decade. but the outbreak and negative publicity has cut into its bottom line. chipotle is also considering raising prices due to additional food safety protocols. still ahead on sunrise, we will get out the check of the outdoor

i and amy sweezey. we hit 90 and a couple spots yesterday as anticipated. most of will hit upper 80' s. at oia executive airport and patrick air force base, we hit 90 degrees. sanford and the tone of each were 89, as well as melbourne in the desolate warm yesterday and warm today. we will be once again in the upper 80' s, a few of us will hit 90. probably won' t break any records. there is the satellite picture showing a lot of that low cloudiness and fogginess that we have across the area. some spots not as much, but you can see visibility is reduced and a lot of the area. one mile in ocala, two miles in orlando. that view you saw there in melbourne, two mile visibility at the airport. we do have quite a bit of that haziness going on early on. temperatures are in the mid to upper 60' s, so it is warm again to start the day.

service to kick up a little bit more, we will get more sunshine as we head into the afternoon. it would be quite as windy as yesterday. wind will be five to 10 and maybe 15 at the coast. not quite as gusty is what we were dealing with on tuesday. i temperatures will be very close to yesterday. mid-to-upper 80' s, 89 clermont , 86 in salt springs. i think a couple spots with a 90 like yesterday as well. it is not out of the question. 89 in ocoee and longwood and 89 in oviedo. mid-to-upper 80' s along the coast. 88 is where we are headed in palm bay. if you are headed to the beach today, i know a lot of kids are on spring break, we have those wins not quite as -- wind not quite as breezy as yesterday. keep in mind that late afternoon into the evening is when that rip current risk will be the strongest, the poll is the strongest is the tight heads out. tomorrow, we have a front that

michelle: on michelle imperato. here' s a look outside. this is daytona beach, we are written up warm again today. amy sweezey is joining us. anything to worry out -- worry about? amy: is a little bit of low cloudiness. it is a little gray and gloomy to start off just like yesterday. the fogginess and low cloudiness will work its way out of your. once we start seeing a little more keep this morning, we get through sunshine -- sunrise and we will see more sunshine today. that will help our temperatures climb into the upper 80' s near 90 degrees. it is going to be another warm day. visibility is reduced one in two miles in a note -- in a number of the areas. as far as our temperatures, we are in the mid to upper 60' s in the -- in most areas. 68 in orlando, 65 daytona beach.
